The 'Jesus' Movie, Great for Evangelism

Worship Divine Jesus

Jesus is both G-d and man. He is 100% G-d. He is 100% man.

I may understand the issues of Judaism and Islam in not wanting to worship Jesus, a man as G-d. I have studied the theologies of both, being a Jew and studying at an Islamic Institute.

One must look at all the Scriptures not just the ones that support your pet theology.

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 (To me, this is simply teaching that G-d is not a liar like man.)

“And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.” 1 Samuel 15:29

“Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,” Deuteronomy 4:16 (Jesus is not a graven image. No Christian should be making images of Jesus!)

G-d in flesh or in the form of a man in the Tanach - Old Covenant:

"And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;" Genesis 18:1 KJV
Gen 18:1 "And Jehovah appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre. And he was sitting at the door of the tent in the heat of the day." Jay Green's Literal Translation

Judaism teaches that in Genesis 18 three angels came to visit Abraham shortly after his circumcision. Is this visit months after his circumcision? Would Abraham 'run' after his recent circumcision, Genesis 18:2? This is G-d in flesh or human form visiting Abraham according to these Scriptures.

"And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness." Exodus 24:10

"And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen." Exodus 33:23

"And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them." Exodus 6:3

"And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left." 1 Kings 22:19

'Militant Christianity', Dr. Carl McIntire, Biblical Separation

Hello Students and Friends,

A major problem with Apostolics today from my point of view is that they don't take a stand against error. The errors like preterism, annihilation of the dead, say sinners prayer and you are going to heaven (easy believism), etc. Yes, easy believism is the belief of some so-called Apostolic pastors.

Clearwater Christian College (Florida) is one of the schools I graduated from. The men who started CCC were trained by Dr. Carl McIntire at Faith Seminary, PA a Bible Presbyterian ministry. Dr. McIntire - May 17, 1906 to March 19, 2002.

Dr. McIntire was very militant in standing for what he believed! He was very aggressive in attacking false doctrines. I was taught that one must take a very strong stand for truth while attending Clearwater Christian College. All of the students are required to take a class called 'Ecumenism'. Another name for the course could have been 'Biblical Separation'.

Dr McIntire separated from the liberal Presbyterian denomination of his day. He fought the good fight based on his limited knowledge of faith. He spoke on his radio station, he wrote books, he stood in pulpits wherever he could proclaiming the need to follow the Holy Bible. He would not compromise!

Today, many Apostolics compromise to follow the teachings of men!

We Apostolics need to take a stand as Jesus, Stephan, and Paul stood.

Is There Really a God? Evolution or Creation?

Is there really a God? Which is right evolution or creation?

I believe Jehovah is God's revealed name in the Old Covenant; Jesus is God's revealed name in the New Covenant.

Creation or Evilution?
Yes, some think that an eye started out as a spot on skin. Then some jell was added to it. Eventually after 1,000s of years nerves evolved. Eventually, there is a full eye in existence.

Which takes more faith? To believe a complex eye could come into existence by chance or that Jesus created an eye by speaking it into existence?

More - Religious Apostolics versus Spiritual Apostolics

Hello Students and Friends,

"A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory." Matthew 12:20

Biblically what is a bruised reed? While touring in Israel, we noticed lots of reeds in the Jordan River. The local shepherds would take a reed and with a knife make a whistle to call their sheep. If it became damaged, it would be broken and thrown away. Why? Because, another reed could easily be found to make another whistle.

Jesus promises not to break a bruised reed. A bruised reed is referring to a Christian who has become bruised. A Christian can bruise themselves or be bruised by another person. The bruising can be the result of sin.

The bruising can be the result of divorce, prostitution, stealing, murder, etc.

What happens when a divorced person comes into your church meeting? Are they treated as if they have a plague? What happens when an ex-prostitute comes into your church meeting? What happens when an ex-con comes into your church meeting?

Please remember Jesus has promised not to break (throw away) a bruised reed!

If you are a bruised reed, you don't want to be around religious Apostolics. They can't admit anyone can sin certain sins in the past and be accepted by Jesus. Secretly, they are glad these gross past sinners are in the church meeting, because they can say, "..., God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." Luke 18:11

The spiritual Apostolic will love those seeking or in Jesus but have been bruised by past sins.

Which Christian would be proud to stand in front of our church and state every sin they have committed? Who can cast the first stone?

May all Christians that Jesus has brought together as members of the church body love each other as Jesus loves the church! Love over looks faults.

Snake - Serpent Handling, Mark 16

Hello Students and Friends,

In the USA there are churches that are Apostolic and handle snakes, handle fire, and drink poison. Why?

"They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Mark 16:18

What does the Greek New Covenant say? The Greek New Covenant is inspired by Jesus not the KJV. http://www.freewebs.com/bibleteach/whichbible.htm

“Whoever trusts and is immersed will be saved; whoever does not trust will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who do trust: in my name they will drive out demons, speak with new tongues, 18 not be injured if they handle snakes or drink poison, and heal the sick by laying hands on them." Mark 16:16-17 The Complete Jewish Bible by Dr. David Stern, the last I heard he was not Charismatic. He learned Greek at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Dr. Stern gives the proper translation from Greek to English.

Believing and baptism is required for salvation. Many try to pervert this phrase. What does it say???? John 3:5

These signs will follow them that believe:

They will cast out devils.

They will speak with new tongues.

If they take up serpents/snakes, they will not be injured.

If they drink poison, they will not be injured.

They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Friend, in Greek or English just read the Words and believe. Paul picked-up a snake which bit him. Was he injured? No. Why not? Could it have been a miracle? I know you believe it was a miracle. Miracles still happen today. Maybe you need to find the right church?

Conclusion
I have never and I never would on purpose handle a serpent. I would never on purpose drink poison or put fire against my skin. I believe those who do are very sincere before God. The KJV has mistranslated the Greek by not making the section on handling snakes a contingency clause with the need for the word 'if'.

Should Christians Kill in Battle? Nonresistance

Should You Go to War? Should You Kill Others?

Would Jesus carry an M16 rifle into battle to kill?

Why do many denominations endorse war?

Do you endorse war? Do you want to kill your enemies? Why?

The Amish, Mennonites, Hutterites, Bretherans, Quakers, etc. believe in nonresistance. Why? Because they follow Jesus' teachings in the area of nonresistance in the physical realm!

Christians should battle in the spiritual realm!

Why does George W. Bush believe in fighting wars? Because he is a protestant, as a protestant/Baptist he believes in easy believism - say an unbiblical sinner's prayer and you are in heaven/saved. Most Baptist believe once saved always saved. As a former Baptist pastor, that is what I was taught and believed. If one is saved no matter what sins they commit, than why obey Jesus' teachings?

What did Jesus do for His enemies? He died for them on a cruel cross. This is foolishness to religious people. Only the spiritual Christian can begin to understand Jesus' love for the world. Is Jesus your example, 1 Peter 2:21?

What did Jesus say about fighting?

“Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” Matthew 5:5

“Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” Matthew 5:9

“But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” Matthew 5:39

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;” Matthew 5:44

“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:12

“But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the [one] cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not [to take thy] coat also.” Luke 6:27-29

Love your neighbor. Who is your neighbor? Your neighbor is anyone with a need. Right, your neighbor does NOT need to be killed!

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. ⁴⁴ But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" Matthew 5:43-44
Did you notice Jesus didn't say to kill your enemy?

"Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Matthew 19:19

"And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Matthew 22:39

"And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:31

"And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices." Mark 12:33

"And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself." Luke 10:27

What did Jesus say about weapons?
"Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. ³⁷ For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. ³⁸ And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough." Luke 22:36-38

Jesus wanted weapons of warfare to be carried to show He was with transgressors. To carry a sword was to be a transgressor. Jesus before He was arrested took time to heal a wounded enemy! Why wasn't Peter arrested? Because, it wasn't Jesus' will!

“Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” (In Karate the hand is the sword) Matthew 26:52

What did Paul say and do?
“Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.” Romans 13:2

Paul used the power of God to subdue (The power - anointing by the Holy Spirit)

“And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.” Acts 16:18

Spiritual Warfare
“(For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” 2 Corinthians 10:4

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8-9

“For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.” Romans 8:6

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Tim.1:7

“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11

Sure in the Old Covenant, Jehovah told His people to go to war. The Christians of today are under a New Covenant. True Christians now have Jesus living inside of them.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.” John 10:10

Can Jesus protect you and your loved ones? Can Jesus provide you the grace to die along with your family? Jesus' will comes first. The American culture has taught many to fear death. I knew that my family and I could die in China, but only if it was Jesus' will. Our battle was in the spirit realm not in the physical realm! Jesus' will was done! My life is in His hands!

David the King could not build the temple, why? He was a man of war!

Preterism - Another False Teaching

Dear Students and Friends,

I have extreme problems with those who claim to follow the Holy Bible, yet go off into non-Biblical doctrines like preterism.

I see a lot of the problems in the Apostolic movement coming from man's tradition of having a priest do all of the Biblical interpretation. The pastor of an Apostolic church is not your priest. He may demand to be, but Biblically he or she is not. Example: I was a principal in an UPC Apostolic church school. I lasted two months of the pastor's bondage. He told me sitting down face to face that since he was the pastor his Biblical revelations when they differed from mine were correct. My Biblical revelations do not need to be corrected by a man who is trying to be the priest between me and Jesus!

My point being, whatever you believe, you need to have looked at Bible verses asking Jesus to show you the truth. When you face Jesus' judgment, Biblical ignorance may not be an acceptable excuse.

“Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.” 2 Thessalonians 2:15

“And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. 15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.” 2 Thessalonians 3:14-15

These verses are part of letters written about end times. The rapture doctrine is a part of Paul's teachings.

Jesus has not led me to write about Preterism. Others have attempted to give you Biblical truth.

I believe the preterism doctrine will be responsible for many ending in Hell and the Lake of Fire. One should be believing in a pretribulational rapture. Without faith for this rapture, you will not be raptured! Many will deny Jesus during the Great Tribulation! Consequently, many will end in Hell then the Lake of Fire! (Yes, I do believe in a posttribulation rapture, also.)

What are the Signs of a Jesus Called Pastor?

A Godly Pastor – {A pastor(s) is a part of a team of elders, please see below}

1. Knows the Holy Bible, 2 Timothy 2:15

2. Loves everyone, 1 John 4:7; Romans 13:9

3. Speaks the truth, always, Revelation 21:8

4. Separates from apostasy – Biblical separation, 2 Thessalonians 3:6; 1 Timothy 6:5; Jude 3-4, etc., etc.

5. Protects the flock, John 10:12

6. Casts out demons, Mark 16: 17

7. Heals the sick, Mark 16:18

8. Baptizes with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of tongues, Acts 19:6

9. Water baptizes in the name of Jesus for the washing away of sin, Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16

10. Knows how to walk in faith, 2 Corinthians 5:7

11. Is led of the Holy Spirit, Romans 8:14

12. Knows how to keep you married

13. Is not a hireling – John 10:10

14. Knows how to prepare you for ministry, Ephesians 4:12

15. Knows Jesus as his or her God, Matthew 1:23; John 20:28; etc., etc.

16. Lives a holy life, Romans 12:1-2

17. Reaches the lost - Matthew 28:19 (says go, not wait), Acts 1:8

Which point on this list is not important?

Is your pastor beating the sheep or fleecing the flock?

Spiritual abuse is rampant in the church, today!

"The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: ² Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; ³ Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. ⁴ And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away." 1 Peter 5:1-4 KJV

Elders are Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers. A church should be composed of elders with Jesus as the Chief!
