Christians Don't Need to Die!

If you are a Christian,
Could you die by an automobile accident?
Could you die of a stroke?
Could you die of cancer?
Could you die from the results of a cancer?
NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death." John 8:51

"Jesus saith unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die." John 11:25-26

‘‘Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.’’ Matthew 16:28

“And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.” Mark 9:1

“But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:27

"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD." Psalm 118:17

A. Translation - Enoch
"And Enoch walked with God: and he [was] not; for God took him." Genesis 5:24
"By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God." Hebrews 11:5

B. Translation - Elijah
"And Elisha saw [it], and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And He saw him no more:..." 2 Kings 2:12

C. We shall not see death, unless it's God's will to further His kingdom.
Personal Rapture-translation
Jesus died to further God's kingdom. Peter died furthering God's kingdom (John 21:18-19). If Paul died, his death was to further God's kingdom. I will not die a martyr’s dead unless Jesus gives me that desire. Satan will not determine my death!

D. The Rapture
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-57

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:17

At the rapture must a Christian die first before going on to be with Jesus? Of course not! Than why can't Christians have their own personal rapture like Enoch and Elijah? Well the above verses prove you can avoid death. You shall not taste death. One must simply believe.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death." John 8:51

Misc. Verses
“But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.” Proverbs 8:36 Ones hatred of God means you are going to die!

"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:2

"Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;" Hebrews 2:14

"And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." Hebrews 2:15

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:24-26

Martyrdom
Does Jesus give a peace or desire to those to be martyred?
‘‘And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him.’’ Acts 22:20
"And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep." Acts 7:59-60

‘‘I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.’’ Revelations 2:13

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” 2 Timothy 4:7

If you are a Christian, you do not need to see death unless it is Jesus' will for you to be martyred.
