Jewish Hummus

Hello Friends,

Hummus is a great healthy food to be used as a dip. My family dips crackers into a tub of hummus, yum, yum!

Ingredients:

1 - 15 oz can of chickpeas/garbanzo beans
(I drain off the liquid to add as I blend - not all of the liquid maybe needed)

3-5 tablespoons of lemon juice depending on taste

2 tablespoons of tahini (sesame seed paste)

2-3 garlic cloves depending on taste

1/2 teaspoon of salt

2 tablespoons of olive oil (optional)

Mix all together in a blender.

Enjoy!
