Light for Your Path

Every year our family celebrates Hanukkah or the Feast of the Dedication. Jesus celebrated this feast as we can see in the book of John 10:22, “And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.” Our children get so excited about this time of year, because we give them gifts and make ‘Potato Latkes’. We tell again the wonderful story of how our God miraculously kept the Temple candlestick lit for eight days with only one days supply of oil. We then go on to teach them how He came in human flesh as Jesus Christ. The Bible says in John chapter one that all things were made by Him. Verse Five says that the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not. The same chapter teaches that He was in the world and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.

John the Revelator saw Jesus while he was exiled on the Isle of Patmos and described His countenance as the sun shineth in his strength and He said to John, “I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”, Revelation 1:18.

We can give gifts and fix traditional food, and it is such a good thing, but the greatest thing we can give our children is faith in Jesus Christ. No other gift has such lasting value. When we light our Menorah I am always reminded of the old Sunday School song verse we still sing , “This little light of mine. I’m going to let it shine. Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.”

Who is Jesus Christ?

If you were to ask most pastors, seminary graduates, people in the pew, ‘who is Jesus Christ’? Their answer would be ‘He is the Son of God’. That answer is true. If you were to ask them, ‘is Jesus God?’ They would probably hesitate as they say, ‘I don’t know.’ When I ask those I would meet, ‘Who is Jesus Christ?’ Most would respond, ‘He is the Son of God.’ Then I would ask, ‘Is Jesus God.’ They would give an excuse as to why they didn’t know who is Jesus Christ! Ask your pastor, priest, friend etc. ‘Who is Jesus Christ?’ Please let me know their answer.
The Holy Bible clearly tells us Jesus Christ is God!
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6
"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us." Matthew 1:23
“And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.” John 20:28
"And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." 1 John 5:20
"But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:" (Why is He coming in the likeness of men? Because, He's God!) Philippians 2:7
"And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, ... ." Philippians 2:8
"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. {9} For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." Colossians 2:8-9
"Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. {17} Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen." 1 Timothy 1:16-17
"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, ... ." 1 Timothy 3:16
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1
“Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.” John 5:18

"But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. {9} Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows." Hebrews 1:8-9

What is Your Title??????

Hello Friend,

In this day and age everyone wants a title. It seems few are content with the address of politeness such as Mr., Mrs. or Miss.
The Holy Bible does not address Paul as Apostle Paul, or Missionary Paul, Etc. A title is never used before any of the Apostles' names! Sure, Paul was an apostle, missionary, saint etc. Did he need a title before his name to give him self esteem or a sense of worth.
Christians seem to need a title. Why?

Here, pick out a title: (smile)

Abbe, Abbess, Abbot, Ananda, Angel, Apostle of Humility, Apostolic Scribe, Arch cardinal, Arch Deacon, Arch Priest, Archbishop, Ascetic Gnostic, Bible Historian, Bishop, Brahman, Canon, Cantor, Cardinal, Channel, Child of the Universe, Colonel, Cure, Deacon, Dervish, Directress, Disciple, Druid, Elder, Emissary, Evangelist, Faith Healer, Father, Field Missionary, Free Thinker, Friar, Goddess, Gothi, Guru, Hadji, Gythia, Healing Minister, High Priest, High Priestess, Imam, Lama, Lay Sister, Magus, Martyr, Messenger, Metropolitan, Minister of Music, Minister of Peace, Missionary Doctor, Missionary Healer, Missionary of Music, Missionary Priest, Missionary, Monk, Monsignor, Most Reverend, Mystical Philosopher, Orthodox Monk, Parochial Educator, Pastor, Pastor General, Patriarch, Peace Counselor, Preacher, Preceptor, Priest, Priestess, Prophet, Psychic Healer, Rabbi, Rector, Religious Preacher, Revelator, Reverend Mother, Reverend, Reverend Father, Right Reverend, Saint, Saintly Healer, Scribe, Seer, Shaman, Soul Therapist, Spiritual Counselor, Spiritual Healer, Spiritual Warrior, Starets, Swami, Teller, Thanatologist, The Very Esteemed, Universal Philosopher of Absolute Reality, Universal Rabbi, Universal Religious Philosopher, Vicar, Wedding Officiant Wizard, Etc., Etc.

In our church, we address each other as brother, sister, pastor, etc.

Light For Your Path

Psalm 30:11 "Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; 12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever."

Maybe for you, Thanksgiving time is not a time of rejoicing, but a time of remembering the joy once shared with a particular loved one. My mother died at Thanksgiving, and it was several years before I could consider it again a happy time. We don’t always understand our trials in life. Certain situations can make God appear cruel instead of loving. We can feel robbed instead of blessed or thankful. Please don’t give up. Hang onto faith like Job did.

Job was a good man in every way. He even got up in the mornings and offered sacrifices in case his family had cursed God in any way (Job 1:5). When his trial was the heaviest, his words were full of sorrow. His own wife had no words of comfort, and did not understand how he could maintain integrity. In Job 42:10, we see the Lord turning around Job’s situation when he prayed for his friends. Yes, God allowed Job to experience pain when He could have prevented it. Job held on to faith when he did not understand his trial and by doing so the Bible says in Job 42:12, “So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning”. How about praying that same scripture from Job 42:12 for your situation? Lord bless the remainder of my life more than the beginning.

May the Lord give “... you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that you might be called a tree of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified”, Isaiah 61:3.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Matthew 7:21-23

Hello Friends,

Jesus said:

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21 What does Jesus say you must do to enter into the kingdom of Heaven? You must do the will of your Father which is in heaven!

“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?” Matthew 7:22 You can do many great works for Jesus, but unless you are doing the works He tells you to do, you are not going to Heaven.

“And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:23 Hell awaits for those who do holy works that are not directed by Jesus.

"And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." Jeremiah 3:15 True pastors must feed knowledge and understanding to you. Their desire should be to enable you to arrive in heaven. No one left behind! The pastor must teach Jesus’ teachings from His Holy Bible. You must learn how to know and do Jesus’ will, moment by moment.

Acadian Lighthouse Church Services

Hello Friends,

The church service at Arcadian Lighthouse Church, where we pastor started at 10 am and ended at 4:00 pm this past Sunday. The church provides lunch; we break for about an hour. Then Jesus starts the meeting again. One man had demons cast out, another had his knee healed, etc. etc. Jesus is real!!!! He was truly in our mist.

"And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them , and confirming the word with signs following. Amen." Mark 16:20 KJV

Are you tired of warming a pew? Come to really have church! Come to be used of Jesus! Come to learn what your spiritual gifts are and how to use them. There are 17 spiritual gifts.

"How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying." 1 Corinthians 14:26 KJV

This is not a one man show, with a man sitting on his throne in control of his subjects! Some pastors have eunuchs sitting beside him.

In our church meetings, Jesus is in control as the chief shepherd.

With Jesus Christ in control, the meetings are very exciting! One doesn't know what Jesus is going to do next!

Jesus is our Lord and God!

Today was Magnificant!

We drove to the city of Nazerath and what a city it is. It is huge. I always imagined the city where Jesus lived to be small and remote. Maybe it once was but not now. It has such a beautiful mountain view and a lot of shopping malls. I told Bruce I wonder about the Gospel witness there. It is a shame that in such a place there is so little of the original Apostolic message being preached. The enemy really has a strong hold there. Next we drove to the Mediteranian border to the city of Caesarea. We toured the ruins of the ancient sea port built by King Herod as a tribute to Augustus Caesar. Many years and wars have ruined the ancient site but the area has been built back up to be a nice residential and resort community. It was really worth the drive.
We had ice cream on the walk by the Sea not far from the place the Apostle Paul had to pled his case before the Governor before being sent to Rome. What a place of history this was. We then drove to Tel Aviv and rode around a bit before heading to the airport where I am typing this tonight. We have a lot to write about and tell our children when we see them. Jesus bless you
and have a great Feast of Tabernacles.

Walking where Jesus really Walked!

Hello Friends,

We were very excited yesterday walking in the exact synagogue where Jesus walked! Walking through the exact door Jesus walked through. Standing in front of the exact ark where Jesus and Paul would have stood to minister.

Yes, we were off the beaten tourist path. It wasn't even listed in the book on ancient synagogues.

Today, we plan on going to another synagogue where Jesus walked! Etc.

Ruins, here we come!!!!

Day Five Day Six Massada Dead Sea Engedi Qumran

We had a glorious time at the Massada site. We stayed at the Hostel at the foot of the Mountain.
We certainly had to overcome our fear of heights riding the cable car that took us to the top.
King Herod built a huge fortress there. It was so awesome to climb to the Northern Palace. We were not looking down on the way up for sure. The view was amazing. You could look out over the Dead Sea to Jordan. The view from the Northern Palace was so beautiful there are not words to describe it. I have to include a picture so everyone can see it. We stayed at a beautiful hostel that had a balcony overlooking the Dead Sea.

The water in the Dead Sea is an aqua which is my favorite color. We watched as people went to the beach there and floated on the water. It is very poisoneous and you are not to drink or get it in your eyes etc. People have died from it. So while it is beautiful it is deadly. The next place we ventured to was the beautiful oasis of Engedi.

We climbed up to the waterfalls to the one that is called David's Waterfall. There I sat while Bruce climbed a bit further. This was fresh water coming from a spring in the middle of the desert. It is hard to imagine until you see it how refreshing it is. In the Bible King David met up with Saul in a cave in Engedi. In the book of Song of Songs the Shulamite woman speaks of Engedi. We were there and I cannot tell you how it felt as there are not enough words and we do not have all day and night. To be in a land that is full of Bible history just boggles my finite mind.

Next we went to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. I never thought while reading the books of the transcriptions that I would stand on that spot. It was completely the desert and you could look at the caves they were found in. There on that spot the Essenes built their worship areas. There were Seven Ritual Baths there. Imagine bathing in white cloth seven times for purification! Once is enough for me daily maybe twice if its been a hard day but seven times? The caves they lived in were so small. It was hard for me to imagine their lives to be anything but harsh yet they lived to try to please God. We are so blessed to live in the U.S.A but I wonder how blessed we really are. Things take us farther from Jesus.

Israel Day Four

we had a great time today! We finally found the house of Simon the Tanner by the Seaside in Old Yafo. We then walked all over the place going to the Antique Flea Market in Old Yafo and then to the Carmel Market. I don't know how many miles we put on our shoes but it has to be many.lol. We had so much fun in the Market. Bruce found some great buys on Kippas and even a Channukah Menorah. We bought a Kiddish Cup and Saucer. We also bought gifts for our children and a Shofar for a friend. I love the scarves these ladies wear and after today I will be sporting one. We went back to take pictures of the most beautiful Synagogue we have ever been in. Yesterday was Sabbath so we could not take pictures but today we were able to. The paint on the outside of the Temple even had gold flecks in it. It was totally beautiful. I told Bruce you can tell when a group of people love and respect the House of their God. It showed there. We bought some great fruit and cheese and fresh baked bread at the Market. For lunch we had huge sandwiches of Lamb and onions with Hummus and a spicy pepper sauce. It was great! I hope we get the same lunch tommorrow.lol. The only thing is we may not be able to be on the internet. We are driving down to Massada and The Dead Sea/Engedi experience. Engedi is mentioned in the scriptures. This is going to be a blast. I told Bruce I look forward to the good time we are going to have there. People float in the Dead Sea but the most famous story is the one of Lot's wife turning to a Pillar of Salt which they say is viewable still. I don't know if its the same Pillar of Salt but I am not wanting to know which one. I only know it really happened. To all our friends I say Shalom and have a great day! For us it is eight thirty pm and I am tuckered out. We are Seven hours ahead of the U.S. in time. This am was daylight savings time. We found out when we showed up for breakfast one hour too early.....go figure...I am for once on time and find out I have to wait. Oh the joys of being American!!!! Oh yes and we bought more Coca Cola!!! Every one loves it here!!!

Day Three

We were excited to finally find the Great Synagogue. We had walked right by it and missed it somehow. In doing so, we were directed to the most beautiful Synagogue we have ever seen.
The Rabbi was very hospitable and had been to New Orleans, Baton Rouge and even Jackson, Ms. There was a huge ornate depiciation of the Tree of Life and inside the Great Hall was
a huge gold depiciation of the Temple. The prayer benches were beautifully carved. Hopefully we will be able to go back today and take pictures as we were not allowed to do so on Shabbat.

We walked about but being Shabbat the streets were not busy. However, when the evening came and Shabbat was over people were everywhere shopping and dining out. We purchased dinner from a stand that made pizzas and bagels etc. Then we stopped at another stall and bought mango juice. We found a bench where we could dine and take in the atmosphere. There was a traffic circle that Bruce was sure he would never like to attempt. It was so full of cars. I am attaching a picture to give you an idea. What a place this is. Tommorrow, we go out to the Carmel Market, and this time hope to find it full of goods.

Day Two

We are having such a great time. We drove to Jaffa today and are staying at Beit Emmanuel Hostel. We parked the car and walked out into Old Yaffo. The sights and smells and sounds are incredible. The McDonalds called the hamburgers McRoyals.lol..Yes we found McDonalds again but still no cheese on the burgers. Ah the joys of being in Israel. We walked out into the area near the Mediteranian Sea. It was the best view ever. We walked the harbor and stood on the Wishing Bridge. No I didn't wish. It was way too wierd to think that people stand there and touch their horiscope signs and make a wish looking out into the Sea. People from all parts of the Middle East were there on Holiday as its Rosh Hashanna here which is the New Year. I am very thankful to be with Bruce who knows his way around fairly well. We saw people baking bread and pizza like bread in brick ovens in the walls. It smelled fantastic but unfortunately I ate at McDonalds. Cokes are super expensive here but I like coke so its out with the shekels anyway.
Tomorrow we are going to Simon the Tanner's house and the Great Synagogue. We are so excited to be alive and well and in Israel.
Jesus bless you!

In the Holy Lands

Hello Friends, Day ONE

Israel is a great country!

We are staying at a kubbutz in Merchavia. Today we saw the Sea of Galilee! We took pictures.

Driving a rental car and taking pictures. Our rental car is white with Budget written on both sides and on the back. As the last time I was in Israel, I feel like the signs mean Americans shoot HERE!

McDonald's is great, but they won't put cheese on our hamburgers.

The Orthodox Synagogue service was three and a half hours long! All in Hebrew! Dana sat in the backroom with the other women. Yes, the women know their place. Just kidding, Dana! You know I was just kidding, really!

The shofar blowing was fantastic!!!!!

The weather is cooler than Louisiana's, but it is not cooler by much.

A lot of people here don't speak any English. It is a good thing we were brushing-up on our Hebrew before leaving the States.

L'shana Tova Tikatevu

"L'shana tova" tikatevu means , "May you be inscribed for a good year." In Celebration of Rosh Hashanah Jewish people all over the world greet each other with this phrase. This is referring to the Book of Life. In Revelation Chapter 21 we find John describing the Holy City, the New Jerusalem. To me one of the greatest verses in that Chapter speaking of the Book of Life is

verse 27 which says, and there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Knowing that you belong to the Family of God is the greatest thing.

Rosh Hashanah is a time of repentance preparing for the Day of Atonement in Israel. We should be sure we are prepared to meet our maker and walk in the Heavenly Jerusalem.

We are very excited as we will be in Israel for Rosh Hashanah this year. We would ask that you all pray for us as we travel and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Great time in New Orleans

We were very blessed to spend time with friends in New Orleans, La.
Lewis and Dee Dee had us over for a great evening aboard the Natchez Steamboat for a dinner cruise. It was just a lovely evening relaxing and laughing. If anyone hasn't done this before its worth the trip over. They drove us around the city and showed us beautiful homes around Loyola University. It is such and amazing city with beautiful architecture. We met Lewis on one of our trips back from Nigeria. They are celebrating a new engagement so hopefully soon we will be posting some wedding pictures on our blog. Jesus knows how to bring hearts and minds together. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast and Bible Study Sunday morning. It is so good to know Jesus. He does wonderful things for us. Dee Dee has two sons who are very successful of which she and Lewis are so proud of. We went over to visit them and had such a good time talking we could have continued on into the evening but then we headed over to Smitty's for Po-boys. Bruce enjoyed a po-boy for the first time. He had only had it once and did not like it. This time the place and the food met together for a winning combination. Thanks Lewis and Dee Dee for the hospitality and great weekend. Jesus bless you.

Happy Fourth of July

I can hardly believe its already the Fourth of July. The Summer months are going by so quickly. I am already getting ready for new school shoes for the children. Its amazing to see all that Jesus is doing in our lives. We are so excited. Yesterday we were house hunting with our new friend Lee Buroughs. We all prayed together that Jesus would give us the house He has in mind for us. We think we might have found just the house. Lee called the next day and was amazed at the huge house she found for the price.
We are praying that if this is Jesus' will that it will all happen quickly. Our children were so excited about having new bedrooms and a big back yard. I am happy about being able to rest a bit and concentrate on ministry more. Jesus told us through two Prophets that He was going to give us our own home. We are expecting Him to do just that.
Jesus is good and He is God. There is no real independance outside of the Church of Jesus Christ. We are all part of the Body of Christ though we live in many areas of the world. If we are dead to self and baptized into Him with the resurrection Spirit on the inside of us then we are alive in Him. You cannot separate who we are from who He is. That is how it should be. When people see us they should see the personification of Jesus Christ. Have a great weekend!

What a Great Weekend!

We had a great time last weekend with our friend Sister Terri in Alabama. The weather was superb! It was such a blessing to be out side playing guitar and singing. We met a man who is
a school teacher in Brewton, Alabama. He heard us singing as he was walking around the
neighborhood. We put a guitar in his hands and soon he was no stranger. People are out
there in the world and drawn by the anointing of Jesus Christ and what He has to offer.

Gulf Shores was beautiful. We did not see one drop of oil from the incident recently off the La coast evident there. Our children loved the waves and surfing!

We drove over to Pensacola, Fl on Sunday morning to hear a man who is famous in Baptist circles Dr. Ruckman. It was so different from any Baptist church service I have ever been to.
They were so excited about the Bible. If some of you who have the truth in salvation would get as excited about the Bible as this group is then you could win your world for Jesus Christ. Dr. Klein of course was in the book store as always and we came home with a great deal of material.

It is our prayer for you today that you reach many souls for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ!
Whatever you do in word or deed do all in the Name of Jesus!

Yours for truth,
Dana Klein

On the Road!

Hello everyone! I have not blogged in some time. We have been so very busy for Jesus and raising a family.
Things are moving right along. We are headed for the great state of Florida and later to Alabama. I have a dear friend who serves Jesus that used to be a Country/Western Musician that plays a real mean guitar
I hope to get together with. The fiddles will be smoking....I am hoping....Hey who knows I may write a new song! Dr. Klein has been deep into working on his new book. I can't wait until it goes to press. We however will be busy traveling more after it does. I have a book called True Biblical Prayer that is going to press as well.
Those of you who want a deeper and more directed prayer life or want a deeper study on prayer get ready because you can learn and study and pray. The more Biblical we are the better we understand Jesus Christ.
Jesus bless you and whatever you do in word or deed follow the command to do all in the Name of Jesus!

Are We Really Apostolic?

Lately I have been pondering on these things. I want to truly be Apostolic. I am not
finger pointing because I feel we all have room to improve.

I am truly sick of the enemy getting the upper hand in the lives of the people of
the Name of Jesus. It is time that deliverance is preached in churches. If we are saying we
are Apostolic then the same things that occurred in the Bible ought to be happening in
our midst.

When is the last time you have seen someone having to run for the waste paper basket
in church because someone was getting deliverance?

Do we think that deliverance died with the old timers?
Brother Klein and I preached in one assembly and the remark was made,"Oh that is just like the old timers." One minister who trained in a church I helped at came to me and said," Sister Dana
you should have seen what happened when I visited the church in ______. There was a lady who came up and they started praying for her and stuff started coming up. I was the only one who even had a clue what was happening thanks to the ministry teaching me what to do."
He then ran for the waste basket and proceeded to help her get deliverance.

I think too many are directing people to self help programs rather than Holy Ghost
deliverance.

When the ministry tells someone that they need anti-depressants then you know
the message is perverted.

I cannot see any place where Jesus sent them to the psychiatrist. I also don't see where Paul or Peter or John did either.

Sure I believe that people can have so destroyed their bodies that after they receive the Holy Ghost and get deliverance that they may still need things to make the chemicals work correctly but the same Jesus can correct that as well. These people need then to be seeking healing. Can they find it in the altars of the Apostolic churches? If this is happening in your church
then please put out the word so the rest can come to a church that is claiming what its naming on the sign.

What is your crutch today? What is your excuse? Are you relying on deliverance from the Holy Ghost and replacing your thoughts with Bible thoughts or do you run to the clinic for methadone? Lets be honest. Either we are going to serve the true Jesus or we are going to
serve the weak and perverted version that religion is passing out.

Do you believe the Bible?

Lately I have gotten emails from Ladies who are honestly seeking deliverance and healing.
It so burdens me that they are not receiving all they could be receiving.

I pray that Jesus would deliver each one. Its a shame that in our day and age that more Apostolics are not practicing what the Bible preaches. We have become too complacent and
comfortable and wealthy. The world is going to hell and we are more worried about which
dress to wear to service. We want another building program because we feel that if we build it they will come. Well thats a facade. What will they come to? Will they come to another cistern or will they come to living water and never thirst again? Jesus help us all. We have got to have True Apostolic Ministry in operation among us. When you have to drive four hours to be in a service where the gifts operate or two hours to find a church that still believes in old fashioned Holy Ghost deliverance its a shame. I am tired of reading books by Verbal Bean and those who moved in Apostolic Holy Ghost power and then going to places that no more resemble this than the man in the moon. Most don't even have pre-service prayer any more. What is happening in the churches today? Its scary to me.

I pray that those who have the truth in salvation would move deeper into the realm of faith so that the Church of Jesus Christ can really claim title to the term Apostolic. Look at what the word says Jesus did. Are we really Apostolic?

Matthew 4:24

And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 8:16
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with [his] word, and healed all that were sick:

Matthew 10:18
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Mark 1:32
And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.

Mark 1:34
And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

Mark 1:39
And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

Mark 3:15
And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

Mark 6:13
And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed [them].

Mark 9:38
And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.

Mark 16:9
Now when [Jesus] was risen early the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Mark 16:17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Help us Jesus.

Who is a Member of a Local Church?

Hello Students,

Who is a member of a local church?

Are you a member because you warm a pew and give the required money?

What does the Holy Bible say?

"For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?" 1 Corinthians 12:14-17

A foot, an ear, an eye, and a nose all have a function.

If you attend a local church and don't have a function, are you really a member?

Sure the pastor expects you to attend and warm a pew and give money, but does he or she guide you into ministry?

Many Christians today are simply expected to do nothing else but to attend and give money! Every Christian has a ministry. Most don't have a ministry in the local church, and the pastor could care less! He is a one man show!

Many pastors only look at their congregation as their pay check or even their retire fund.

So, you need to belong to a local church where you have a function!

We Need to Hear Jesus !

Most standards I have heard preached are minimal. If we have a relationship with
Jesus we can hear his voice.

If we only rely on the preacher than we are in sad shape indeed.

Let me share just a few examples.

These are things we do without the preacher telling us.
We don't watch tv in our home because its mostly garbage. Even the news is tainted.

The newspaper is filled with depressing stuff. Read it and try to pick out positive things. You will have a problem with finding any. I read it and pray against junk that
is happening in our world.

I can choose where I surf on the net. Tv throws it in your
face and once you have seen the junk its hard to erase the image of it. Maybe you
are different than me and its not so hard for you.

I feel that gender is an issue so I stay away from styles that are manly.
I feel the society paints a picture of a woman that Jesus does not. I stay
away from what it expects me to be and try to personify what Jesus' word says.
The world's standard of modesty is way below the Bible standard of modesty.
I don't need someone to pound it into my mind. I can see that the Bible teaches
it and have enough Holy Ghost to know what to wear and what not to wear.

The problem I have with people who pound standards and try to define every little
line is that they go over board. Women are not born evil and out trying to
get every man to fall into sin. We are beautiful and intelligent and know our
Bibles. We are not Amish and do not need to look like an 1800 photograph.
We can read the word and know how to dress and behave. We are able to do
work in the Kingdom and fulfill the call of Jesus Christ and still be Biblical in
the way we dress and behave. We do not need to look like Grandmas at 20 years old
nor do we need to look like the cover of Cosmo. We have been given the same
Holy Ghost as the men in the church and we are not weak spirited. We pray and
fast and read the Word and are used by Jesus in our world. Great works
have been done by women who are submitted to Jesus.

Do What You Love and Money Will Follow

I remember when the book came out entitled, "Do What You Love and Money Will Follow." It certainly is an overstatement. There are people doing exactly what they love in the world and are poor. I have always admired what Mother Theresa did in India. She fed and ministered to people who could not repay her. Though we may not be of the same beliefs I do admire the work she did. I did not see countless dollar bills following her. We met a man in Baton Rouge that is working among poor homeless people. He helps see to their physical needs and provides meals to them. On Sundays they have a church service out of doors. If it rains they go under an overpass. I did not see money by the oodles following him. The Word of Jesus does however provide something better than money.

It says this in Psalms 23:6
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

If you do what you love who knows money may follow you. I would however encourage you to follow Jesus. If you follow His ways goodness and mercy will follow you. I would rather follow a sure thing than follow a fad.

We need to follow Jesus in all His ways including the following:

Psalms 101:5
Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

I am so amazed that people will go to church and shout all over the place and speak in other tongues and maybe even during the meeting someone will get behind the pulpit and speak things that just have no factual base. We need to watch that as Ananias and Sapphira were put into their early graves that we too do not face such a plight. We cannot preach that Jesus is the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob then live like there is no punishment for sin. Gossip and slander are sin and will keep you out of heaven. Jesus loves unity among Brothers and Sisters. His word also tells us to love our neighbors. We want an Apostolic move of the Holy Ghost in our midst and our churches but are we being honest? If we have one there may be many more head stones in the graveyards. I wonder if we are really discerning the "Body of Jesus Christ?" Are we recognizing that when we are fighting the work of the Church of Jesus Christ that we are fighting against Jesus? Maybe it comes down to the fact that we don't recognize where the church really is. Do we realize that the temple of the Holy Ghost(Who is the Holy Ghost Apostolic believers?) resides in our Brother and Sister? We preach it but do we practice it?
Just some thoughts today.

Pakistan needs Gospel Workers!

Would you like to go to Pakistan and preach the Gospel? Would you like to sponser someone else to go? Jesus wants you to send workers into the harvest. I communicated with a lady today who is a singer and is trying to reach her country. Her name is Sister
Violet. I would love to go to her and share all that I have been blessed to learn and minister in Pakistan. How about you? If you know this One God Apostolic Jesus Name
truth then how about sharing what you know with someone who would appreciate it?
I have here a link to tracts in Violets language. All that is missing is a hand to reach
out to hers and place them in it. How about you? They are having crusades coming up.
I would love to go and love to take others. Pray about it and contact us if you have
a desire for Pakistan.

Jesus is the Great Encourager!

Last night we were out celebrating my new degree. I learned earlier in the day that Missionary Don Wall just came out of surgery. While on the way we were in contact
with Pastor Jose Rodriguez in McAllen, Texas. I was telling him about the service
Brother Klein and I had in Zachary, La the previous Sunday. People we met while out
and about in the city were in attendance.

I hung up the phone and this really nice lady
approached the table. She said," I want to thank you personally for moving to our area and working for Jesus." She just did not know how miraculous that statement was.
We have felt for some time that we need to be doing a work for Jesus on American soil. That just encouraged me so much. The Nigerians love us. The Mexicans love us.
Many other nations love us and we so much love them. Now we can train people to send to them. That is our heartbeat.

In our home time until recently we had been fellow shipping at New Life UPC in St.Francisville, La and teaching Greek for Brother Clark and Sister Bobby Clark.
They are a great couple and really blessed us when we went on our Nigerian trip.
We love them dearly and value their friendship. Brother Klein went to Pastor
Clark and told him we felt to start a new church work. We did not know exactly where at the time but were praying about it. One of the Brothers in the church offered us his office building to teach Bible. That will not be for very long because people are coming up to us as this lady did and talking about Jesus. We are asking that you pray for us that we will find a bigger space where we can worship with a bit more leg room.
Thank you Brother and Sister Mock for giving us freely space to teach the Bible. You
are great people.

We want to be teaching and preaching full time. Our world is full of lost people who need Jesus and people who need to be trained to work in their ministries. We cannot continue to ignore the cry of the Spirit.

Jesus is God and there is no other. Gratefully we know we are in the will of Jesus.

Blessings to you and your family in Jesus Name,
Dana Klein

Biblical 'Rapture', YES!

Hello Friends,

Dana and I believe in a Rapture.

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

'Rapture' is a Latin word for the English words 'caught up', so in the Old Latin Bible the word 'rapture' is found. The word 'rapture' is in a Bible.

"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
1 Corinthians 15:52

Women in Ministry

I would like to invite all the ladies out there who are involved in Ministry
to come to a for ladies only forum to discuss ministry issues. If you have always felt a call or recently felt one you are invited as well. I am going to reformat it so it includes an open topic area. I just haven't done that yet. There are about three hundred members so far.I would appreciate suggestions and also some of you who have been in ministry for a while to go into and mentor other. Women are fantastic ministers and do so much for Jesus. The world in years past has not always been opened for women to minister with freedom but that is changing and Jesus is using women in a big way to reach the globe for Him. Thank you Jesus.

Respect for the things of Jesus

I have been telling my husband lately that I have such a burden for Spirit filled people.
I grew up being taught a great respect for the things of Jesus. I have heard people voice
the words," Oh, its just a building or its just a book." I beg to differ. Its not just any building.
Its the place where the Saints of the Most High God meet for services. Its the book that
contains the message of Eternal Life. I grew up watching the minister walk in the building carrying the Bible high above his head and placing it on a pedestal in the sanctuary. Now I see people throwing their Bibles on the floor or not even caring how they treat it. This grieves me so much.
If the Apostle Paul were to walk into our home today I would be so honored. I would want to give him the best chair to sit in. I would want him to stay for dinner and dine with our family. I would not tell him that I feel we are all his equal and that I am just as important as he is in the church.
If the Apostle Peter came to our doo

I would usher him in and and treat him with up most respect and regard. I would also treat him as I mentioned the Apostle Paul. If Jesus Christ were
at the door how would we treat Him? Yet His word says that when two or more are gathered in my name behold I am in the midst. How then can we act so disrespectfully in church and
toward each other?
I love what this scripture says,"
Phl 2:3
[Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

We need to look upon the things of Jesus, the ministry of Jesus,
those appointed by Him to do His work in the earth in a different way than we look at the butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker. Sure they are all important in the earth but you cannot live forever by partaking of their goods. Jesus has the words of eternal life. His ministers bring it to the world if they are following His will.
That is very important work. We cannot forget that the same Spirit
that was present in the Tabernacle of Moses and the Temple of Solomon
is Jesus. If we truly believe and teach the same then we should respect the fact that if He is a Holy God and what He does is Holy. I hope today as someone is reading this that they understand who Jesus is.

Klein's Ministering in Mexico

Hello Friends,

Wow! What a blessing we received in Mexico!

We ministered seven days with Brother and Sister Wall.

Their headquarters is in Santander Jimenez, Tamps, Mexico. They have started 18 churches in Mexico.

Dana and I team preach. Typically, I preach then Dana preaches and gives an altar call. We minister as evangelists commonly in other countries.

We crossed the Mexican border Saturday morning. That evening we were preaching on top of a mountain at a village called Plandeayala.

Sunday, we ministered at the home church at Jimenez both meetings.

Jesus was telling me to preach on water baptism for the evening meeting. Brother Wall said he knew of one lady needing water baptism who might respond. Brother Wall said let's fill the baptistery by faith. The baptistery looks like a small cement swimming pool.

That evening I preached on the need for water baptism in the name of Jesus for the washing away of sin. Dana continued preaching on water baptism. After the altar call, Brother Wall went to the lady he thought would get water baptized to encourage her. She didn't respond, but six others did. Pastor Pepe said to Brother Wall, Bruce did the preaching have him water baptize. What a blessing! The meeting had 48 in attendance. These were people who usually attend the meetings.

We were blessed to preach at least once a day!

Oh, danger?
NO, danger at all! Except when preaching in a church building Brother Wall and team had built. The sides were cement block and the roof was 6,000 palm branches. Over the years some of the palm branches had left.It is located on top of a mountain. I am preaching and Brother Wall is translating. With rain coming down! The roof is leaking with the PA getting wet. Brother Wall is getting wet. My Bible is getting wet! He had told me about the time he was water baptizing and someone was handing him a microphone. Before he put his hand on the mic, electricity jumped out of the microphone and shocked his mouth. Now at the church building the PA is covered with water and the microphone in my hand is metal which is close to my mouth. I am praying asking Jesus to keep us all safe. Thank you, Jesus! We were not even shocked. Another danger was the converter that changes the 12 volts to 110 was in the rain as was the battery still attached to the bus! NO shorting, the lights stayed on and the PA system continued to work! Thank you, again, Jesus!!!!!!

Mexico for Jesus!

To Jesus be the glory for all the marvelous things He has for and through the Klein family in Mexico. We were privilaged to be invited by Missionaries Don and Mary Wall to Santander Jiminez. They are doing a beautiful work for Jesus. How beautiful are the feet of those who spread the gospel of peace. We met new brothers and sisters in the family of Jesus Christ. They took gracious care of us.
We were very blessed to labour in the gospel beside genuine pioneers for Jesus.
Brother and Sister Wall give their very best to the work of Jesus.
Thanks be to the Walls and Sis. Sandra and Brother Pepe, Brother Tim and all the saints in Jiminez and the churches.
We had a great time. We will post pictures and give more details later. Today we are traveling home and are tired but very happy. We look forward to our next adventure for Jesus.

We are traveling again!!!!

We are on the road this am traveling to Mexico. Our first stop is Donna, Texas and on to
Santander Jiminez. We are expecting great things to happen in the Holy Ghost. Dr. Klein has been driving all night with only a few rest stops. We are too excited to sleep! I saw a sign this am that announced,"Breakfast Tacos." I have a hard time imagining that. I think Huevos when I think breakfast. Jesus is so good to us. We have been having lots of rain along the route.
Houston was asleep when we drove through it. We am grateful for that as the traffic there can be long and patience testing.
To everyone who helped us make this trip possible we want to thank you. We
cannot mention everyone's name because we would leave someone out. We are very
excited and feel so privileged to be able to carry the truth of the Gospel to the Nations!

Juan 3:5 Respondió Jesús: De cierto, de cierto te digo, que el que no naciere de agua y del Espíritu, no puede entrar en el reino de Dios.

Trinity versus the Oneness of God

Hello Friends,

Below is a letter I wrote to a pastor challenging our doctrine of Oneness:
(English is his second language)

As an attempt to answer your challenges about what I believe the Holy Bible is teaching:

I believe God manifests himself in three ways.

Do you believe 'God in three persons'?

Is Father a person? What is a person? Father is never seen. A person can be seen.
Is Holy Spirit a person? Can the Holy Spirit be seen?
Jesus Christ is a person. He is still a person. He can be seen.

What is your God's name?

My God's name is Jesus.

Jesus Christ is 100% God and 100% man.

How many thrones for God are there in Heaven? Is there a throne for Father? Is there a throne for the Holy Spirit?

There is only one throne in Heaven. Jesus Christ sits on the only throne in Heaven. Why? Because He is the Godhead. The Holy Bible doesn't say 'Godheads'. In 'Right hand of ...' the Greek does not have the word 'hand'. In the Greek, this phrase is used to show Jesus' authority. - 'My right hand man'.
Colossians 2:9 "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."
Luke 22:69 "Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God."

John 14:10 "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."

John 14:11 "Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake."

John 10:30 "I and my Father are one."

The verse below is Jesus Christ speaking as a man; He is 100%. There are many verses where Jesus Christ in His humanity is speaking. Other verses Jesus Christ as Godhead is speaking.
John 16:16 "A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father."

We are speaking about two different Jesus'. There is the Jesus of the Trinity doctrine, and the Jesus of the Oneness doctrine. Paul the Apostle said there would be those teaching a different Jesus.

Your salvation is decided by your decision!

The Trinity is a teaching coming from the Roman Catholic Church. The Reformers were all ex Roman Catholic Priests. Do the Catholics and most Reformation churches speak in tongues, generally, no. I am not a protestant.

Fall Fest New Life St.Francisville, La

We had a lot of fun at the Fall Fest at New Life Church in St. Francisville on
Saturday. First we visited the towns many yard sales. It was yard sale weekend
in St.Francisville and because of it my bird has a fancy new cage. She seems to like
it just fine. When you are three inches tall I suppose change is good.lol.
Our children tell me they had the best time that they have had ever.
Special thanks to Sister Sherilyn Fontenot their Sunday School teacher.
She organized the games and much of the fun including the cake walk.
They are still begging to eat more cake. I helped with the Cotton Candy
machine and ate all I did not pass out. I finally had to turn off the machine so I
wouldn't make more. My face, blouse and hair were covered with pink fluff but oh the fun we had. Brother Micheal helped and it was a good thing. Sometimes the machine
put out more than I could get on a cone. I decided I have to have my own machine after that because its too much fun. I have the desire to do it again.haha.
My husband could be seen throwing a football, eating a hotdog and reading a book.
He cannot spend a lot of time away from study. He loves to study. I am so grateful
for that because it pays to study the Bible. He is a fantastic Bible Teacher.
I forgot to mention that Friday night he taught our Greek Class at the church and
we really learned a lot. Thanks Brother Klein for all the study. We are reaping the
benefits of your dilligence.

Saving Faith, UPCI Tract

Is one saved by faith alone, or by faith and obedience?

Someone who makes a thorough study of God's plan of salvation from sin will be convinced that salvation comes through faith. Paul made this plain by saying, "For by grace are ye saved, through faith: and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). But what is saving faith? Is man passive in regeneration, as some affirm? Does mentally believing in Jesus Christ, and doing nothing else, bring salvation?

Faith Makes Salvation Possible

For an answer to the foregoing vital questions let us read John 1:12: "But as many as received him to them gave he power [literally, the privilege or right] to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." According to this verse believing on Christ makes it possible for a person to become a son of God. Such faith alone does not save him; rather it places salvation within his reach. Clearly, if he does not believe on the name of Jesus Christ or in the plan of salvation He has provided, he will not take the steps necessary to be saved.

How Faith Saved Noah

"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house… and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith" Hebrews 11:7). How believed, first of all, that a destructive flood was coming, though he had never seen such. He further believed that if he would be delivered. His faith, then, led him to meet God's conditions, and he was saved.

In like manner, faith saves the sinner. Of course, he must first accept what Christ did for him at Calvary, for upon this expiatory sacrifice the whole plan of salvation is based. But the sinner's faith in what Christ did-his belief in the promise of salvation if and when he meets the terms of the gospel-leads him to obedience, and this obedient faith brings salvation.

How a Jailer Was Saved

Those who affirm that salvation comes through mental faith along, that the sinner need do nothing but accept Christ and what He did on Calvary, are prone to quote Paul's words to the Philippian jailer: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house" (Acts 16:31). The implications is that all the jailer did to be saved was to believe on Jesus Christ. But proponents of this theory fail to quote verse 32, which reads, "And they spake unto him the word of the Lord." This "word" certainly included the doctrine of water baptism, for verse 33 states that the jailer and his family were baptized. And, since repentance is to precede water baptism, there is no doubt that they also repented. Then in verse 34, the jailer received an experience that caused him to rejoice.

How them, did this jailer's faith bring him salvation? It did so by leading him to meet the conditions of the gospel. Faith and obedience worked together, and he was saved.

Confession Must Accompany Fait saving_faith

Romans 10:9-10 says, "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." The work unto is from the original eis, and means "for the purpose of." According to this passage, there is definite connection between confession and salvation. And confession is an act, over and above simple faith in the mind.

Prayer Must Accompany Faith

Continuing his teaching concerning salvation, Paul said, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). Of course, a person can call upon the Lord form his heart, without physical effort. But the phrase "call upon," usually implies the use of the voice, or vocal prayer. And any use of the voice in prater is an act, in addition to faith.

Togo further, we are taught in God's Word that a person receives the Holy Spirit by faith (Galatians 3:2, 14). But does this gift come through faith without any action? Some affirm that it does, giving as their reason that it is not proper to ask anyone for a gift already promised. But Christ's words disprove this idea. "If ye then, being evil, know hoe to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:13).

Faith and Obedience

What part, then, does faith play in receiving salvation? A person must believe in Christ's sacrifice and in the availability of the gift of salvation. His faith must motivate him to obey the scriptural command to repent, be baptized in Jesus' name and receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). He must believe that if he will repent and ask in prayer then he will receive the Spirit. His faith leads to obedience and thence to receiving the Spirit and the fulness of salvation.

There is no contradiction between Ephesians 2:8, which says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith," and James 2:24, which declares, "By works a man is justified, and not by faith only." The latter statement is certainly true when "works" means acts of obedience to the terms of the gospel. Only those who have "the obedience of faith" -those who obey the doctrine, obey the gospel, obey Christ-will be saved. (See Romans 6:17 10:16, 16:26; Hebrews 5:9).

Saving faith leads a person to obey the gospel, and such obedient faith brings salvation.
